Thomas J., of Point Pleasant, NJ, formerly of Ridgefield, NJ, died at home surrounded by his family on April 16, 2012 at the age of 79. Devoted husband for 52 years of Jane (nee Casey) Gallagher. Beloved father of Theresa Gallagher of Bedford, NY and her husband Anthony, Mark Gallagher of Mahwah, NJ and his wife Maryanne, Stephen Gallagher of Waldwick, NJ and his wife Patricia, Thomas Gallagher of Hong Kong and his wife Haeju, Matthew Gallagher of Kinnelon, NJ and his wife Nula, and Leslie O'Connell of Glen Rock, NJ and her husband Michael. Cherished grandfather of Casey, John, Brian, Zachary, Shannon, Conor, Shea, Rylie, Marie, Alanna, Jack, Katie and Michael. Thomas worked as a Systems Analyst at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, New York for 40 years, and retired to Point Pleasant in 1996. He was a former parishioner of St. Matthew's RC Church, Ridgefield, and a parishioner of St. Peter By The Sea RC Church, Point Pleasant. Visiting at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield (201) 945-5032 on Thursday from 5-9PM. Family and friends may gather on Friday at 9:15 AM at the funeral home to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:15 AM at St. Matthew's Church, Ridgefield.
