Richard Joseph Kodora

Richard Joseph Kodora of Fort Lee, New Jersey passed peacefully in his sleep early Monday morning April 7, 2025. He was 86 at the time of his passing. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Brenda (Merkle) Kodora, his two sons Richard Kodora Jr. (Terah) William Kodora (Susan) and predeceased son Kevin Kodora (Lori). Granddaughters: Heather, Sabina and Hailey.
Richard was a graduate of Bergen Tech, served in the US Navy for 4 years, and worked at the Port of NY Authority for 35 years at all their facilities, as an electrician, high tension splicer and construction coordinator. After retiring he worked with Transdyn as a senior consultant for 16 years. He coached Little League baseball in Fort Lee for many years. He especially enjoyed gardening and golfing with his friends. He deeply loved his family and will be greatly missed by them and all those who came in contact with him throughout his life. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude’s.
