Mary ricia (Pat) Dougherty

DOUGHERTY - Mary Patricia (Pat), of Ridgefield, formerly of Leonia, passed away Saturday, March 11 at the age of 72. Prior to retirement Pat was a secretary with Scholastic Magazine, New York City and Colorite Plastics of Ridgefield and was DMV Title Processor with Englewood Ford. Pat was Leonia Councilwoman from 1979 to 1981 and was editor and chief writer of Trunkline, a monthly publication of the Leonia Republican Association. She is survived by her sister Barbara of Leonia and her dear friend and companion, Junious Daniels of Ridgefield. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Florence (Brennan) Dougherty and her sister, Therese Dougherty. Visitation will take place at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home Wednesday morning at 9 AM and attend the funeral mass at 10 AM at St. John's R. C. Church, Leonia, NJ. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to St. Francis Breadline, St. Francis Assisi Church, 135 West 31st Street, New York, NY 10001 would be appreciated.
