Lucia (nee Vittozzi), born in Naples, Italy on September 15, 1927, died on February 4, 2014. Devoted wife of the late Stanley G. Holm who died in 1997. Beloved mother of Anthony Holm of Middletown, NJ and his wife Diane, Anna Maria Messina of Ischia/Naples, Italy and her husband Pietro, and Linda Nobile of Ridgefield, NJ and her husband Ricky. Cherished grandmother of Bartolo, Luciano, Pamela and Michael Messina, Anthony and Mary Lucia Holm, and Felicia Cammarano Leon. Treasured great-grandmother of eight great-grandchildren. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Gaetano and Carmine Vittozzi, by her sisters Clorinda Vuolo, Antonietta Wildey and Elena Hills, and also by her sister-in-law Shirley Ahlm. Lucia came to the United States as a war bride in 1946, and she lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving to Weehawken, NJ in the 1950's. She was a devoted homemaker for her family whose needs always came first, and she was friend to all, especially those in need. Cremation was private. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 AM to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Matthew's RC Church, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield. Inurnment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ. Donations in Luica's memory to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
