SKRZYNIARZ
Eugene (Gene) J., of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on June 22, 2013 at the age of 81. Devoted husband for 59 years of Patricia (nee Smith) Skrzyniarz. Beloved father of Debra Esposito and her husband Michael. Cherished grandfather of Valerie Esposito and Kristy Esposito. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gene was a truck driver for many years for Metropolitan Trucking, North Bergen, and APA Trucking, North Bergen. He also worked for Englewood Cliffs Dept. of Public Works. He was a parishioner of St. Matthew R.C. Church, Ridgefield. He was a member of the American Legion Roemer Bollerman Post 221. He was also a dedicated Civilian On Patrol (neighborhood watch) assisting the Ridgefield Police. He was a teamster of Local 560. Visiting will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield (201) 945-5032. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 AM to attend the funeral mass at St. Matthew R.C. Church, 555 Prospect Ave., Ridgefield on Thursday at 10:15 AM.
