BUCCI
Anna Maria (nee Terzolo), 85, of Ridgefield, NJ, died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 10, 2015. She was born in a brownstone in Hell's Kitchen, NYC on July 8, 1930 to parents Riccardo and Carmella who came to America from Northern Italy.
She was predeased by her husband, Anthony "Tony" whom she eloped with four days after turning 18 years old - they were married for 64 years. She is survived by her sons, Michael and Ronnie, daughter Gina and daughter in law, Linda. Beloved Aunt Anna to Richard, Della, Caroline, Larry & Valerie, Margaret & Mary Catherine and all the Lapi's.
She was "Mama Bucci" to everyone else for her love of people and especially cooking for them. She was Den Mother, Class Mom and Team Mom who loved watching all sports that Ronnie and Gina played and came to hundreds of ball games with her "juice jug" for the team. Her Super Bowl parties in the basement bring back many memories to all that attended and left with a full stomach and leftovers for days. She loved her time working at Villagio's Deli serving up food and sandwiches as well as bantering back and forth with the customers. She had a soft heart for animals and cared for all her four legged friends in her home with love and cooked food - no food out of a can for them.
She loved Frank Sinatra & John Wayne and both the Yankees and Mets. She is going to be missed by many as she holds a special place in many people's hearts.
