ROMANO Vincent Peter, of Little Ferry, NJ, entered into Eternal Rest on May 16, 2010 at the age of 75. Devoted longtime companion of Carol Kearney of Little Ferry. Beloved son of the late Joseph Romano and the late Catherine Divola La Marca. Beloved stepson of Anthony La Marca of Florida. Loving brother of Joseph Romano of Florida. Dear ex-husband of Christina Romano of Toms River. Beloved father of Vincent of Hasbrouck Heights, Joseph and his wife Laurie of Hillsdale, and Christine Pagano of East Brunswick. Cherished grandfather of Giovanni and Vincent. Vincent had been a Police Officer for the Boro of Ridgefield, NJ and was owner of Romano's Orchard Grove, North Bergen. He was US Navy Veteran who served in the Korean War. Visiting will be at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield (201) 945-5032 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 AM to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10:15 AM at St. Matthew's RC Church, 555 Prospect Ave., Ridgefield.
