Theresa Basile

Theresa Basile, 87, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on June 29, 2023. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony. Theresa is survived by her devoted daughters Theresa Bortz (Ric) and Michele Thompson (Steve), grandchildren Erin Bortz, Eric Bortz, Kelyn Bortz and Allison Thompson, and great-grand daughter Ava Bortz Hubschman. Theresa was happiest when cooking and baking for her family and friends. Her apple pie was beloved by all and her handmade baby blankets have been donated to many. Visitation will be at Blackley Funeral Home in Ridgefield on Sunday, July 2nd from 4-7 pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, July 3rd at 9:30 am at St. Michael’s Church in Palisades Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville NJ 08721.
