Susan Claire Trojnar

Susan Claire Trojnar passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024 with her family by her side.  She was predeceased in life by her husband George Trojnar, and her parents Howard and Mary McLaughlin.  Sue leaves behind her brother Brian McLaughlin, many cousins and that one special person and the love of her life, daughter Maura Nellie and her partner Tyrell Wright.

Sue was a single mom after she lost her husband early in life, when Maura was just a few months old.  She did not have time to grieve because her role of a mom was something she cherished and she knew Maura needed her more than ever.   They would go on many vacations to the beach and she always wanted Maura to experience everything she could.   The beach was her happy place maybe that is where she found peace and solace.   When Maura was accepted to Rutgers Sue was beyond proud and knew that her daughters, opportunities would be endless.     

Sue spent a majority of her career at the Commercial Agency in Park Ridge. NJ.   Her knowledge of the insurance industry was limitless.   Many of us asked her advice when we needed insurance because she was the go-to person.    Sue also got to know many of her clients, many of which she is still friendly with today. They appreciated Sues loyalty which is something you do not find today.  

So, we ask everyone that knew Sue to remember her with only happy thoughts and to keep Maura in your thoughts as she prepares to say goodbye to that one person who was always by her side, her Mom.

Family and friends may pay their respects at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield NJ on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 3-7 PM.  

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 9 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Matthew's Church in Ridgefield. Committal services at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson.
