BUDIN Stephanie V. (Novo-Mesky), passed away peacefully at the Shrewsbury Crossings Assisted Living Facility on Tuesday, June 14th, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Her beloved husband, Charles A. Budin, predeceased her in 1998. She leaves her loving sister, Evelyn Krausser, also residing at Shrewsbury Crossings, her nephew, Dr. Russ Krausser and his wife Lucinda Krausser of Boston, Massachusetts, her niece, Audrey Benda, of Moneta, Virginia and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was born in Cliffside, New Jersey, daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Suko) Novo-Mesky. Stephanie graduated from Cliffside Park High School and also from Drake Business College. Thereafter, she was employed at Weber and Graft Thread Cutting Company in West New York and then by the Joseph Turner Company in Ridgefield. She then ably assisted her husband, licensed pharmacist Charles, at the Shaler Pharmacy in Ridgefield for many years. Having spent her formative years in Ridgefield, Mrs. Budin subsequently moved with her husband to Upper Saddle River and, in retirement, to Lacey Township, also in New Jersey. Her family and friends will remember Stephanie for her clever sense of humor, love of animals and playful resilient spirit. She and her husband enjoyed travel immensely, especially cruising to exotic destinations. A sixty year member of the Bogota Amore Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mrs. Budin was also an active member of several Lutheran Church congregations. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Saturday June 18th from 10 AM-12 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ. Burial will follow immediately at the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
