Stefano Piccini

        Stefano Piccini, 97, of Ridgefield, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Born in Susak, Croatia, Mr. Piccini came to the United States in 1955. He was a longshoreman for the ILA, Hoboken, retiring in 1986. Beloved husband of the late Giovanna “Jivanica” (née Mattessich) Piccini. Devoted father of Dino and Christine, Anthony and Mary, Steven and Doreen, John and Deborah and is predeceased by his daughter, Fiorella and grandson, Nicky. Proud grandfather of Eby, Torey, Gian, Caity, Vanessa, Jeremy, Andrew, Nathan, Emily, Matthew, Melissa and John. Loving great grandfather of 17. Dear brother-in-law of Antonio Mattessich, Chetti Hroncich, Maria Piccinich and the late Matteo Mattessich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. at the Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield NJ 201.945.5032. Gathering on Saturday, September 11th at 9:30 AM. at the funeral home to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. St. Matthew's Church, Ridgefield.  Stefano will be entombed at Fairview Mausoleum with his wife Giovanna.
