Samuel L. (aka Sam Reni), 71, was born 1/13/43 in Jersey City NJ and passed away 4/19/14 at Audie Murphy VA Hosp. San Antonio, TX. Cremation was held privately in San Antonio, TX on May 2, 2014. He had lived in Englewood, NJ for over 40 yrs. Predeceased by his father and mother: Francis "Frank" and Irene (Juliano) Tagliareni, aunts: Christine (Juliano) Marsano, Phyllis (Juliano) Ortense, uncle: Nicholas Juliano, cousin: Nicholas (Measles) Juliano and nephew: Joseph F. Tagliareni Jr. He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law Joseph F. & Pamela (Gorman) Tagliareni Sr., niece-in-law Julie (Meyer) Tagliareni, grandnephew Joseph V. Tagliareni, cousins John Marsano & family, Theresa Marsano, the Juliano, Papiccio & Ortense families, niece Gina Curko & family, numerous cousins, friends and their families. A Mass will be held at St. Cecilia Parish, 55 W. Demarest Ave. Englewood, NJ 07631 on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 9:30 AM. Immediately following the Mass, all are invited to a "Tribute of Sam's Life" at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ from 11AM to 1PM. Anyone wishing to say a prayer or story in remembrance of Sam are invited to do so. Absolutely no flowers, fruitbaskets or Mass cards please.
