Remo G. DeMARTIN

DeMARTIN Remo G., of Ridgefield, entered into eternal rest at the age of 85. Devoted husband for fifty-five years of Norma (nee Nehrbass) DeMartin. Beloved father of Laura Morris and her husband John of Fairview, Ken DeMartin and his wife Theresa of Long Island, NY, and Douglas DeMartin and his wife Pauline of Florida. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Nicholas, Steven, Christopher, Sara and Alexander. He was a US Army POW Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Seniors of Ridgefield, and of the American Legion Post 221, Ridgefield. He was also an avid NY Giants football fan. Visiting will be at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield (201-945-5032) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Family and friends will gather at the Funeral Home on Friday at 9:15 AM to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:15 AM at St. Matthew's R.C. Church, 555 Prospect Ave., Ridgefield.
