Pauline Capone

Pauline Capone, 90, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on April 18, 2023. 

Born in Palisades Park, New Jersey, Pauline was a lifelong resident of Ridgefield. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa Talmo. She worked as a real estate broker, business owner, and a professional free spirit. A deeply spiritual person and a devout Catholic, the phrase “love thy neighbor” perfectly describes Pauline’s life. Family was everything to Pauline. A single mom in the 70’s, anyone who crossed paths with Pauline became family. Whether she sewed it herself or bought it at a garage sale or flea market, she always had a bag on her arm with a gift just for you. Whether it was a winter coat, a sweet treat, or a ride home, she would always provide for her friends and family.

Pauline is survived by her sisters Joan Broderick and Dorothy Jordan, sister-in-law Cathy Talmo, children Cathy DeCarlo, Theresa Capone and  partner Jorge, James Capone and wife Lisa and Raymond Capone and partner Diane, and grandchildren Michael and wife Tara, Samantha, Jessica and husband Ian, Rebecca , Laura , Ryan and Sarah. She was preceded in death by her  brothers Anthony and Joseph Talmo and grandson Joseph DeCarlo. 

A mass and celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
