Matthew Mager Obituary

Mager, Matthew of Leonia, NJ entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2020 at the age of 61. Beloved father of Lindsay, her husband Paul Knibbs, and their children Joseph, Benjamin, Paulie and Dean; Elyse and her husband Danny Cawthon, and Carly Mager; sisters, Evelyn and Elizabeth and brothers, Hank and Jimmy; former wife, Keri Lord. Predeceased by his beloved sister Laura Leddy.

Matt grew up in Parkchester and graduated from Monsignor Scanlan High School in 1977 where he made lifelong friends. He later moved to Leonia, NJ where he started working for Freeman Decorating as a Freight Manager.

Matt was a dedicated father, grandfather and friend, who will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, love for good food, and his warm smile.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, Novemeber 4, between 4pm-7pm at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ 07657.
