Mathew Carmine Testino was born on October 29, 1970, at Holy Name Hospital and raised in Palisades Park, New Jersey. He passed away on November 29, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of service and compassion. Mathew dedicated his life to helping others, starting as a volunteer EMT with the Palisades Park Volunteer Ambulance Corps and later as a paramedic in major metropolitan areas. He further expanded his impact on healthcare by becoming a nurse practitioner.
In addition to his dedication to helping others, Mathew was a talented cook who trained in culinary arts. He found joy in sharing meals and creating connections through food.
He is survived by his son, Matthew William Testino, who was the light of his life; his wife, Jasmin; and his loving parents, Barbara and Matteo. He also leaves behind siblings Steven, Christopher, Brian, Antonio, and Alyssa, along with countless family, friends, and colleagues who were touched by his kindness and dedication.
Friends and family may come for visitation on Friday, December 6, at Blackley Funeral Home. 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ, on Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, at Blackley at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Garden of Memories mausoleum 300 Soldier Hill Rd, Township of Washington NJ.
