Mary Gibson Obituary

GIBSON
Mary E., of Ridgefield, NJ, died on September 2, 2012. Devoted wife of the late George Gibson who died in 1978. Mary was actively involved in the borough of Ridgefield. She was a member of the Seniors of Ridgefield, the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, the VFW Women's Auxiliary, the Ridgefield Chapter of Holy Name Hospital Auxiliary, and the AARP. She was most known for and proud of her portrayal of Mrs. Claus for the town for many years, and that she was the Bingo caller at the Seniors of Ridgefield for 26 years. Her spirit of giving of herself was very evident in all she did for others throughout Ridgefield. Visiting at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield 201-945-5032 on Wednesday from 9-11 AM. Graveside prayers will follow at Ridgefield Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Seniors of Ridgefield, the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, or to the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
