MICHAEL J. LEE

MICHAEL J. LEE RIDGEFIELD Michael J. Lee passed away peacefully on April 13, 2010, at the age of 82. Born in County Cavan, Ireland, Michael came to the United States in the early 1950's and resided in Union City, NJ for many years before moving to Ridgefield. He was a carpenter with Local 608 of NYC District Council Carpenter's Union for fifty years. He was the devoted husband of the late Rose (nee O'Brien of County Offaly, Ireland); beloved father of Bridget Anne Kruger and her husband Ed, Eileen Hartley, Michael Owen Lee and his wife Monica, Patrick Lee and his wife Lisa, Moira Dwyer and her husband Bob, and Elizabeth Lee; cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Carolyn, Ryan, Michael, Kelly, Matthew, Katie, Chris, James and Jennifer; and loving brother of Maura Doherty of Belfast, Northern Ireland and Brigid Szaniszlo of NY, and the late Patrick Lee and the late Annie Rita Lee. Visiting to be at Blackley Funeral Home on Thursday, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 a.m. to attend a 10:15 a.m. Funeral Mass on Friday at St. Matthew's RC Church, 555 Prospect Avenue, Ridgefield. Interment will follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
