Lucy A. Lang passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edgar Lang, in 2003, with whom she shared a lifetime of devotion and cherished memories.
Lucy embraced life with a true spirit of adventure and a deep love for the outdoors. An avid scuba diver, she treasured her travels to the Cayman Islands, Belize, and Florida, where she found both beauty and joy beneath the sea. Closer to home, she delighted in life’s simple pleasures — a quiet walk in the park, laughter around the table, and time spent with those she loved most.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Scott; her daughter-in-law, Melissa; and her grandchildren, Heather, Zachary, and Joshua. She is also survived by her daughter, Bernadette of Florida; her grandchildren, Jayme, Eryn, and Daniel; and her great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Carter.
Lucy will be remembered for her warmth, her adventurous heart, and her unwavering love and generosity. Her presence brought light and comfort to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield. Prayers will be offered at 10:30 a.m., followed by final prayers at Garden State Crematory, North Bergen, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that floral arrangements be omitted.
