Lorraine Betti

BETTI Lorraine G. (nee Asplint), of Edgewater, NJ, formerly of Palisades Park, entered into eternal life on Nov. 4. at the age of 85. Born in Jersey City, she was a graduate of Emerson High School in Union City. Devoted wife for 56 years to the late Hugh, they enjoyed traveling the world together. Beloved mother of Nancy Horsey and her husband Douglas of Chappaqua, NY; and, Joseph Betti and his wife Ruthe of Reno, NV. Loving and proud grandmother of Sara Horsey of Chappaqua, NY; and, Francesca Betti and Patrick Betti, both of Reno, NV. Loving sister of George Asplint of Lodi, NJ and the late John Asplint. In recent years Lorraine enjoyed friendship and shared her love of music with her friends at the Waterford Towers. Visiting is Friday from 3-7 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield (201) 945-5032. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 8:45 AM to attend a funeral mass at 9:45 AM at St. Michael's RC Church, Palisades Park. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Save the Children (www.savethechildren.org).
