Josephine Kern

KERN Josephine (nee Catale), of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on February 1, 2011 at the age of 92. Devoted wife of the late Gustav who died in 1959. Beloved mother of Barbara DeGroot and her husband Dan of Ridgefield, Louis Kern and his wife Sylvia of Charlotte, NC, and Robert Kern and his wife Susan of Kent, WA. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Kimberly and Joseph Kern, and the late Debbie Kern & the late Michael Kern. Josephine was a housewife. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew's RC Church, Ridgefield. Visiting will be at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032 on Friday from 4-6 PM. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 9AM to attend the funeral mass at St. Matthew's Church, Ridgefield on Saturday at 10 AM.
