Joseph R Connelly

Joseph (Joe) R. Connelly, 71, of North Bergen, NJ (formerly West New York, NJ) passed away on January 23, 2021.
He is survived by his sister Ronnie of Hawthorne and preceded in death by his sister Claire Connelly. Son of the late Francis (Mike) and Vera (Linder) Connelly.
Joe worked 45 years in frozen foods for Shop Rite Columbia Park in North Bergen, NJ, retiring in 2014.
He was the kind of person who would help anyone with whatever he could do.
As many have stated, a 'gentle soul.’
There was a special place in his heart for his pets of many years.

A private Funeral will be held on 1/29/2021, from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ 07657. 201-945-5032
Interment, Fairlawn Cemetery, Fairlawn, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made either to Ramapo Animal Shelter of Oakland, NJ or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
