John Lustmann Obituary

LUSTMANN
John E. "Jack", of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2013 at the age of 88. He was born of Henry Lustmann and Ellen (nee Hayes). He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years Joan A. Lustmann, his daughter Dolores (Lori), his sister Patricia Forte of Little Ferry, four step children Michael Peletier and his wife Jean of North Brunswick; Daniel Peletier and his wife Mary of South Brunswick; Kathy Hickey and her husband John of Edison, and Margaret Peletier of Mount Arlington, six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Henry, Alan and his sister Ann. Jack was a Navy Veteran who served in World War II on the USS Pittsburgh, he performed in the Pacific Theatre during WWII, and was a member of the American Legion 221 and VFW, both of Ridgefield. He was a previous president and vice-president of the Seniors of Ridgefield, and an editor of their newsletter. He served as Councilman in the 60's in Ridgefield, and was past president of the Bergen County Republican Association. Before retirement, he was a cost accountant for Bendix Corp., Teterboro. Visiting at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield (201) 945-5032 on Saturday from 5 to 8 PM and also on Sunday from 3 to 7 PM. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 AM to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Matthews RC Church, 555 Prospect Ave., Ridgefield, NJ on Monday at 10:15 AM.
