AGE: 91 MANCHESTER
Janet L. (nee Englemann) Steinbacher, 91, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at home, surrounded by her family. She lived in Ridgefield before moving to Manchester in 2000.
She was a homemaker and beloved wife of the late John T. Steinbacher. She was a devoted mother of Thomas, Philip and Arthur; loving grandmother of Dawn and her husband John, Amy, Christopher, and John and his wife Carmen; great-grandmother of Matthew and Jacob; and dearest sister of Vera and the late Herbert, Alfred and Helen.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 8 at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Friday, July 9 at the funeral home to attend the funeral service there at 11 a.m. Cremation will be private.
