James KRAUS Obituary
KRAUS
James (Jim), longtime resident of Ridgefield, died on February 16th, 2014 at the age of 88. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Helen (Masloff) and is survived by sons James (Sue), Edward (Laurie) and George, and grandchildren Peter, Margery, Connor, Lindsey and Jake, and great grandchildren Mason and Logan. Jim served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and worked at Lowe Paper. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, a longtime leader of Boy Scout Troop # 79 and a member of the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Captain. Jim will be remembered for his generosity and keen sense of humor. Visiting will be held on Friday from 1 PM-4 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ (201)945-5032 with a funeral service on Friday at 3:30 PM. Burial will be private at Ridgefield Cemetery.
