Herbert, of Palisades Park, NJ, entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2013, at the age of 88. Devoted husband of Susan (nee Stark). Beloved father of Peter Appl of Orinda, CA. Visitation will be on Friday, February 8th, from 2-6 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, February 9th, 2013, at 10 AM for the funeral service there at 10:30 AM. Cremation will be private.
