Grazia "Gracie" Matteis

Grazia "Gracie" Matteis, of Cliffside Park, NJ, entered into eternal rest on February 20, 2013 at the age of 70 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Castelvetere Sul Calore, a province of Avellino, Italy. She had been a cafeteria worker at Cliffside Park High School, and a devoted and loving mother and wife. She was a parishioner of Epiphany RC Church, Cliffside Park, and was prayerfully devoted to St. Padre Pio and St. Gerardo.
Devoted wife of Bruno. Beloved mother of Dino and his wife Darlene, Carmen, and Loretana. Loving sister of Salvatore, Filomena Ricca, Valentino, Gerard, and the late Guiseppe. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Vincent, and Nicolas.
Visiting Monday 4:30PM to 8:30PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9AM to attend the funeral mass at Epiphany RC Church, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park on Tuesday at 10AM. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph's Mausoleum,Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gracie may be made to the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Sanctuary in Italy.
