Gerald C. Roe

ROE Gerald C., Age 68, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous eight year battle with cancer. Mr. Roe resided in Palisades Park his entire life. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart, best friend and loving wife of 47 years, Patricia A.(nee Wilman) Roe. He was the beloved father of Stacey Picca and her husband Joseph, Geraldine Roe and her fiancé Joe Mazza, Laureen Caragliano and her husband Patrick, and Wesley Roe. He was the loving poppy of Amanda, Robert, Nicholas, Patrick, Christopher and Paige. All who knew him know how he loved his cowboy boots. He was presently semi-retired from Lasermetrics, Saddle Brook where he worked for 37 years. Visiting will be at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield (201)945-5032 on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9 AM to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Michael's RC Church, Palisades Park on Tuesday at 10 AM.
