QUINTANO Frank, of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2011 at the age of 79. Devoted wife for 54 years of Amelia (nee Viggiano). Beloved father of Thomas Quintano of Oak Ridge, NJ, and his wife Susan, Nancy Scogna of Somers, NY and her husband Vinnie, and Isabel Benoit of Coconut Creek, FL, and her husband Kevin. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Lauren, Vincent and Christian. Also survived by his sister Angelina Trotte of Bayville, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. Frank was a loving, generous, warm person and was loved by everyone. He loved life and enjoyed making people laugh. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. He was born in Hoboken, NJ, before moving to Ridgefield. Before retiring, he started his own business as a butcher, and then switched careers to sales manager of Red Star Express in Newark. Frank was a veteran of the US Army. He was a devoted parishioner of St. Matthew's RC Church, Ridgefield where he served as head usher, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and past president of the Seniors of Ridgefield, all of which he loved doing. He was also past president of the Board of Health. Visiting will be at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032 on Sunday from 2-7 PM. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 AM to attend the funeral mass on Monday at 10:15 AM at St. Matthew's Church, Ridgefield.
