PELLINO
Frank, age 94, of Ridgefield, NJ, passed peacefully at home with his family on May 31, 2014. He was born on May 30, 1920 and spent his early years in Greenwich Village, NYC. He served in the Air Force in WWII, stationed on the Aleutian Island chain in Alaska. He married Anne on September 12, 1948, and the young couple first settled in Queens, NY. In 1954 they moved to Ridgefield, where they raised their three children and where he resided his entire life. Frank was a member of the American Legion Post 221, the Ridgefield Senior Citizens, and the Ridgefield Democratic Club, and served proudly for many years on the Ridgefield Library Board. He was also a parishioner of Saint Matthew's Church. He was a tool and die maker by trade, operating his own business in later years. He enjoyed being with his family and spending his winter months in Florida, especially when visited by his children and grandchildren. Predeceased by his father Frank, mother Virginia, brother Joseph, and sister Marion. He is survived by his beloved wife Anne, son Steve, former daughter in law Lori, son Chris, and wife Susan and daughter Lori and husband Fred, and grandchildren Frank, Katrina, Christine and Stephanie. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield. Funeral from Blackley FH on Thursday 9 AM, with Funeral Mass at St. Matthew's R.C.
