Frank C., of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2012 at the age of 84. Devoted husband of Eleanor (nee Bauer). Beloved father of Raymond of San Jose, CA, and his wife Kristina, and David of Vernon, NJ, and his wife Elizabeth. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Kyle, Dan, Mike, Jake, Mariel, and Ian. He is predeceased by two sisters, Martha Brinkehoff and Gloria Share of Parlin, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a cousin Henry DeMarco of San Diego, CA. Frank worked for Kearfott/Singer/GEC of Clifton, NJ for 32 years. He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Boy Scout Troop 83, and the Seniors of Ridgefield. He served in the US Navy from 1945-1949. Visiting at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ 201-945-5032 on Friday from 4-8 PM. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 AM to attend the funeral service at Zion Lutheran Church, Slocum and Prospect Avenues, Ridgefield, on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Ridgefield Cemetery, Ridgefield, NJ. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory can be made to Zion Lutheran Church; or the National Kidney Foundation.
