Esther M., of Fort Lee, NJ, formerly of Palisades Park, NJ, entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2013 at the age of 97.
Beloved sister of Carmelita Venezia. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Josephine Geraci, Marie Lobin, John La Porta Sr., Anthony La Porta and William La Porta. Loving Aunt of Frances Gaski, Rosemarie Nocerino and her husband Vincent, Victor La Porta and his wife Ginny, and also the late John La Porta Jr., and his wife Judy. Also survived by several great-nieces and great- nephews.
Esther had been a bookkeeper for the Bergen County Park Commission, Paramus, NJ. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael RC Church, Palisades Park, NJ.
Family and friends are invited to gather Friday at 9 AM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Michael RC Church, 19 East Central Boulevard, Palisades Park on Friday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.
