Carol J. Stocum

Carol J. Stocum, 71, a long-time resident of Ridgefield, NJ passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Atlantic City, NJ.

Predeceased by her parents, Robert L. Stocum and Shirley Stocum Cherico. Carol is survived by her sisters, Joyce Mead and Janet Stocum; her brother-in-law, Robert Mead; her nieces, Stacey Ortense and Jennifer Zisa, and their husbands, Robert Ortense and Sal Zisa.  Carol is also survived by her great niece, Makayla, and great nephews, Bobby, Christopher and Matthew, and her dear cousin, Amy McKitterick.

Carol was a member of Morsemere Community Church, a volunteer with her father at The Veterans’ Home in Paramus, NJ, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 221. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morsemere Community Church, Ridgefield, NJ.

Visiting will be held on Monday, December 13, from 12 noon to 4 pm at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave, Ridgefield, NJ. (201) 945-5032. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 14, at 9 am to attend a graveside service at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ at 10:00am.
