Carol Sassani

Sassani, Carol Gae (née:  Rappaport), 81, of Ridgefield passed away on January 23, 2022 at Holy Name Hospice, Teaneck surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her daughter Carin Kees and her beloved husband Florrie. Devoted mother of Michael Kees and his wife Jennifer. Beloved nana to Michael and his fiancé Vanessa; and Matthew and his girlfriend Ashley. Beloved sister to David Rappaport. Loving Auntie to many nieces and their families.
Carol will be sorely missed by many friends and her pet cat Cricket.
Carol was an avid motorcycle rider and devoted to the welfare of animals in need.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an animal charity of your choice in Carol’s honor.
Cremation services will be private by Blackley Funeral Home and interment to be held at a later date at Fairview Mausoleum next to her late husband Florrie Sassani.
