Bernard Rembecky

REMBECKY Bernard J., of Ridgefield, NJ, formerly of North Bergen, entered into eternal rest on September 17, 2010, at the age of 80. Devoted husband of Terry (nee Sporer). Beloved father of Tracey of Englewood, Bernard II of Ontaria, CA, Remy and his wife Sandra of Paramus, Alexis Sweetman and her husband Edwin Jr. of Fair Lawn, and Leanne O'Connor and her husband Peter of Cliffside Park. Cherished grandfather of Tristan, Rachel, Shawn, Zackary, Brian, Juliette, Tyler, Erin, Devon, Joshua and Paige. Before retiring, he was a printing press operator for Nat Container, North Bergen, NJ. He was a disabled Korean War Veteran who served his country in the US Army from 1951-1953. He was a member of the VFW, Boys Scouts, and CYO of St. Brigid's Church, all in North Bergen. He was also a parishioner of St. Matthew's RC Church, Ridgefield. Visiting at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ, (201) 945-5032, on Wednesday from 9 AM - 12:30 PM, when family and friends will leave for a Funeral Mass at 1 PM at St. Matthew's RC Church, 555 Prospect Ave., Ridgefield. Final prayers will follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory, Paterson.
