Barbara R Badalati

BADALATI - Barbara Ruth Capasso (née:  Bewley), 97, of Englewood passed away on August 31, 2021 at Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Badalati.  Devoted mother of Michael Capasso and wife Ginger, Robert Capasso and wife Joan, Alicia Badalati and husband Harald Goetz and the late Donato Capasso and wife Sally.  Proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Badalati worked as a cashier at the Dwight Morrow High School, Englewood for many years.Prior Barbara was a homemaker, where she cared for her family.

Being born in England she was proud of her heritage. She loved her tea and English candies along with other favorites. Our grandchildren loved to sit and listen to her stories from when she was young and in the English Land Army. Her nurturing ways carried through to her employment, during her many years of working in the cafeteria at Dwight Morrow High School. If you couldn't afford lunch Mrs B would come to your rescue...everyone loved Mrs B. After retiring she volunteered at Englewood Hospital where she was known by many and still remembered. Always dressed so beautifully with everything matching.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 1-5 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ 07657.

Cremation is private.
