Arthur D'Alesio
Arthur D'Alesio, 95, a life-long resident of Ridgefield, passed away on Monday, March 26th, 2018.He was born in Cliffside Park on July 1st, 1922. He was the last survivor of the John D'Alesio & Sons Landscaping Corporation, and a parishioner of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church.
He was predeceased by his beloved first wife, Jean (nee Rajeski), who he was married to for 57 years and who he lovingly cared for until her death in 2004. Also predeceased by his parents,John and Teresa (nee Pica) D'Alesio and siblings, Fred, Yolanda, Madeline, and Anna.Beloved husband of Liubov (Sorokina) D'Alesio. Loving Father of Joan Boerner and her husband, Larry, and son Arthur. Loving Step-father to Dorothy (Manfredi) Botsacos.Loving Grandfather of Jean Atkins, Midge Hermanns, D'Dee Page, Jennifer Makowe, Jonathan Boerner and loving Great-Grandfather to: Artie Hermanns, Veronica Hermanns, Jeanina Cannao, Lewis Cannao, and Dominic Makowe.
Family will receive friends on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at the Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield. Funeral Service Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 9:30 AM from the BlackleyFuneral Home, followed by a 10:15 AM Funeral Mass at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church,555 Prospect Avenue, Ridgefield. Interment Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee. Followed by repast at the Olive Garden on route 4, Paramus.
