Antonis Mangllara

Antonis Mangllara, 30, beloved son of Polixeni Lapa and Mihali Mangllara, beloved brother of Efthimia Mangllara, peacefully entered heaven on August 15, 2023 reuniting with this grandparents, Andon & Vasiliki Mangllara and Zaho Lapa. Antonis was born on May 12, 1993 in Hartford, Connecticut. 

Antonis was a cherished son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, brother-in-law and friend. He loved visiting his family in Saranda, where he would love to explore with cousins he adored, play Backgammon with his Dajo and lift spirits with his charming, infectious smile. His day was not complete without a long evening drive, especially in Autumn. 

In addition to his parents Polixeni & Mihali and sister Efthimia, Antonis is survived by and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by many – Nëna, uncles and aunts, cousins and close friends far and wide.

Antonis’ family will honor his life and receive family and friends at the Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ Monday, August 21, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Ascension Greek Orthodox Church, 101 Anderson Avenue, Fairview, NJ at 10:00 a.m. followed by graveside prayers at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood.
