Anne Cummings, 96, of Ridgefield passed quietly on the morning of Thursday, June 7, 2018 surrounded by her family at The Chelsea in West Milford. Born in Union City in 1921, Mrs. Cummings moved to Ridgefield in 1947, making her home there for 69 years. Anne, a former school bus driver, was an avid reader and a talented painter.

Mrs. Cummings was predeceased by James Cummings, her husband of 62 years, her daughter, Kathleen (K.C.) Cummings, and her granddaughter, Kerry Lanagan. Anne is survived by her son, Kevin Cummings and his wife, Debbi of Spotsylvania, VA; her daughter, Barbara Heilmann and her husband, Jeremy of West Milford; her son-in-law, Tom Lanagan; her grandsons, Thomas Lanagan, James Cummings, and Daniel Cummings; and 3 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Everly, and Brielle Cummings.

Family and friends will be welcomed at Blackley Funeral Home in Ridgefield on Sunday June 10th from 2-6 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 11th at 10:15 AM at Saint Mathews Roman Catholic Church in Ridgefield. Interment to follow at Ridgefield Cemetery.
