Allan Edward, of Ridgefield, NJ, at the age of 59. Beloved brother of Michael J. Mader and his wife Cynthia, and Lynda Wolf and her husband Steve. Loving uncle of Michael Allan Mader and his wife Andrea, Brian Mader and his wife Jessica, Brandon Mader and his wife Lindsey, Ryan Bertone, Rachel Wolf, Rebecca Wolf-Nasse and her husband Henry Nasse, Grace Wolf-Kenny and her husband James Patrick Kenny. Loving great-uncle of Addison, Reagan, Braelyn and Brynlee. Cherished Godson and nephew of Lorna Ryan. Dear cousin of Patti Andersen, Kelly Ryan, Terri Jean Bahr, and Beth Elizabeth Townes. Allan was an electrician for the Motion Picture Industry/Local 52, New York City. During his many years in the New York City Motion Picture Industry, he worked on movies such as Goodfellas, The Bronx Is Burning, Working Girl, BIG, Mickey Blue Eyes, and The First Wives Club as well as TV Series like Law and Order Special Victim's Unit (for more than 10 years), Elementary, The Good Wife, Person of Interest, and The Gifted Man. He also worked on productions of 60 Minutes, 20/20, and a whole raft of other shows that we all know and love, as well as many national commercials. Allan was the leading scorer on the Bergen Community College Basketball Team (1974-75), a winning Golden Gloves Boxer, a passionate NY Rangers fan, and he was a Certified Coach with the National USA Hockey Association who played with Joey Mullen (NHL star) during their youth hockey seasons. Memorial visitation will be held at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and then again on Saturday from 2-4 PM.
