Alfred Pescatore Jr.

PESCATORE Alfred C. Jr., 65, of Ridgefield, NJ, left this world and went to heaven on April 6, 2011. A generous, larger than life man, he is deeply loved by his wife, Marjorie and treasured by his loving children, Michael and Jody Pescatore and Leanne and Michael Saily. His new grandsons, Cameron and Michael, gave him great joy. He reveled in their giggles and play. To his sisters Kathryn Boyle (Daniel), Frances Contaldi (Louis), Felice Tatgenhorst (Henry) and his brothers Rocco, John (Elaine) and Joseph (Joanne), he was not only their big brother, but gave them guidance, support, and loving care in all matters. Uncle Fred will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews John and Suzanne Greco, Jill and Carl Sailer, Daniel and Margaret Boyle, Thomas Greco, Mark, Christina, Christopher, Dale, Madeline, Nicolas, Daniel, Peter and Lisa Pescatore, Louis, Krista, Matthew and Kyle Contaldi, Adam, Eric, and Jenna Tatgenhorst as well as his great nieces and nephews Amanda, Ryan, Emily, John and Troy. Always on the go, Fred gave tirelessly of himself to his family, friends, co-workers and clients. A graduate of Seton Hall University and the University of Tennessee Law School, he was in private practice in Hackensack for over 40 years. Fred was predeceased by his parents Felice and Alfred C Pescatore Sr. and his sister-in-law Barbara Pescatore. He leaves behind his dear uncles Rocco Pescatore (Jean), Carmine Pescatore (Maryann), Richard Rehbein and dear aunt Lucille Currenti. We pray that God will give him everlasting peace and rest. Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave. Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 9AM to attend the funeral mass on Saturday at 10AM at St. Matthew's RC Church, Ridgefield.
